About UsEstrella Fine Art is an internet art gallery and art consulting service that I, Emmie Derise, founded in Arizona in 2006. In 1992, I started Emmie Galleries, a "bricks and mortar" gallery first in Philadelphia, then later in Cape May, NJ and Marlton, NJ. My artists, gallery associates, and I served clients throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia region. In 1995 via emmie.com, I expanded awareness of Emmie Galleries artists and we began to serve national and international clients.
Now, as always, I am committed to bringing art out into the world by matching up people with artwork they love and need in their lives and their environments. Art is a visual expression of spirit. Of course it is pleasing when artwork coordinates nicely with the decor, but truly, art is actually doing much more for us than that. At home or in commercial or public spaces, Art offers us a glimpse into the collective unconscious world where the wellspring of creativity resides. Art speaks to us in the universal languages of color, symbolism, movement, and form. Beyond words, Art speaks to the innermost part of our Selves. And so Art nourishes our Souls. So. Be inspired!
